VICKI EDWARDS. BA(Hons)

Vicki
is the Centre's owner and Early Years Professional and has worked at the playgroup since 1995. Vicki has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Children, Schools and Families and is qualified to BTEC standard in nursery nursing and has attended many short courses in child care. She is a qualified first aider and has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People.
Vicki has also been awarded the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) which is a professional accreditation endorsed by the government for graduate practitioners who have demonstrated a set of professional standards.
ADELE WILSON

Adele has worked at the playgroup since 2018 and is the playgroup Manager. Adele has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of People and Young Children. Adele is a qualified first aider and is a Designated Lead Practitioner in Safeguarding

BECKY TURNER

Becky
has worked at the playgroup since 2010 and is the Deputy Manager. She has an NVQ level 3 in Child Care and is a qualified first aider.
SARAH MASON

Sarah has worked at the playgroup since 2019. She has an NVQ level 3 in Child Care and Development.
DANIELLE BOOTH

Danielle has worked at the playgroup since 2019. She has an NVQ level 2 in Child Care and Development.
EMILY COLE

Emily has worked at the playgroup since 2018. She is our apprentice and is studying for a level 2/3 qualification in Child Care and Development.
HAYLEY DAWSON. FdA.

Hayley has been at our sister nursery - Abacus Day Nursery in Morecambe - since 1999. Hayley has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of People and Young Children and is our Professional Staff and Setting Development Manager for all four of our nurseries. Hayley has attended many short courses in child care. She is a qualified first aider.

KATH WOODHOUSE

Kath is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and works at all four of our nurseries. Kath has a BA (Honours) in Geography, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma as a Teacher in the Deaf. She worked as a special needs advisory and support teacher in North Lancashire for 23 years, in high schools, primary schools, pre-schools and with babies in their homes. During this time she gained experience in working with children with a wide range of special needs and her work included cooperative working with a wide range of professionals, including those in health and social care.
