VICKI EDWARDS. BA(Hons)

Vicki
is the Centre's owner and Early Years Professional and has worked at the playgroup since 1995. Vicki has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Children, Schools and Families and is qualified to BTEC standard in nursery nursing and has attended many short courses in child care. She is a qualified first aider and has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People.
Vicki has also been awarded the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) which is a professional accreditation endorsed by the government for graduate practitioners who have demonstrated a set of professional standards.
KERRY MARSHALL. FdA

Kerry is our Business manager and oversees all 4 of our Nurseries and Mossgate After School Club. Kerry has worked at Mossgate Day Nursery since September 2016. Previously she worked at Kingsway Playgroup & Pre-School Centre since 2006. Kerry has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of People and Young Children and is a Designated Lead practitioner and qualified first aider.

BECKY TURNER

Becky
is the playgroup manager and has worked at the playgroup since 2010. She has an NVQ level 3 in Child Care and is a qualified first aider.

JESSICA PROCTOR

Jessica has previously worked at our sister nursery, Mossgate since 2016 and moved to Kingsway in 2019. She has level 3 certificate for the Children and Young People’s workforce. She is a qualified first aider.

 

NATALIE BOSSON

Natalie has been working at our Mossgate After School Club since May 2019 and joined the team at Kingsway in January 2021. Natalie holds CACHE level 2 Diploma in Childcare and Education and is studying for her level 3 qualification. Natalie is also a qualified First aider.

KATH WOODHOUSE

Kath is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and works at all four of our nurseries. Kath has a BA (Honours) in Geography, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma as a Teacher in the Deaf. She worked as a special needs advisory and support teacher in North Lancashire for 23 years, in high schools, primary schools, pre-schools and with babies in their homes. During this time she gained experience in working with children with a wide range of special needs and her work included cooperative working with a wide range of professionals, including those in health and social care.
